The new 3rd kit for the 2022-2023 season will be available at Vasco Store and all Gigante da Colina stores from September 9th
The new uniform aims to unite in just one shirt several elements that reflect Vasco da Gama’s fans’ passion for Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama. The main link couldn’t be any other – it’s our São Januário stadium that turns 95 years old in 2022 and receives several tributes spread across the uniform.
The trousseau has three colors, being off-white for line players and wine and black options for goalkeepers. The fabric on the front and the detail on the back have an exclusive print in jacquard, with tiles that pay homage to the various tiles present in São Januário. Another exclusive detail of this shirt is the golden shield that honors the emblem of the statue of Vasco da Gama at the entrance of São Januário.
The black and off-white shirts also have the option of long sleeves, which brings the coordinates of São Januário as a detail near the cuff. The same detail is also present in the side of the shorts.
The Marketing creation team, coordinated by Marcelo Azalim, took on the challenge of transforming this story into a shirt once again. Azalim mentions “It is always a great responsibility to capture all these details in the traces of our history and apply them to our official uniforms. The final result of this 3rd kit exceeded my expectations in every detail, but this work is facilitated with the ongoing support of Kappa Italy and Brazil in addition to all the marketing sectors of the Club.”.

Photoshoot:
To present these new shirts, the option was for professional models, which gave a special touch to the test carried out in a photographic studio in São Cristóvão.
For this casting, 3 male models were chosen (Breno Guedes, Bruno Toledo and Kibba) and the rehearsal also had the presence of three female models (Sabrina Henrique, Evelyn Martins and Lyvia Ribeiro). The team also had a producer and a support team focused on the fashion market, seeking to deliver a different view from the previous shoots through the new photos.
Another innovation for this essay was the photographer Thiago Martini, from São Paulo, whose work is focused on the fashion market.
With these elements mentioned above, the stage was set for the stars to be the new shirts.
